Dream Without Limits

Dream Without Limits
Today's Scripture:
Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'Matthew 19:26, NIV.
Today's Word:
Too many times we limit God with our thinking. God puts big dreams in our hearts, but in our eyes they look impossible and too big to accomplish. Although we want to see our dreams come to pass, we end up focusing on the mountain of obstacles before us. Maybe you dream of starting a business but you don't know where to begin. Perhaps years of physical challenges have left you feeling like you'll never be healthy. You look at your situation and begin to wonder how, and if, God will ever bring your dreams to pass.Be encouraged today that God can do the impossible. He can supernaturally make all of the dreams He's planted inside of you come to pass. What are you focusing on today? Your situation may seem impossible, but God sees it differently. See your dreams through eyes of faith the way God sees them fulfilled. Make room in your thinking today for the dreams God has for you. If things look hopeless in the natural, put your confidence in the promises God gave you. Trust in Him to make all things possible for you. As you do, you'll begin to see your dreams come to pass in ways you never imagined.
Prayer for Today:
Lord, I give my situation over to You today knowing with You all things are possible. All of my hopes and dreams are in Your hands, and I will no longer limit You in my thinking. I choose to see my dreams through eyes of faith and believe they will come to pass. Thank You for working supernaturally on my behalf. In Jesus' Name. Amen |
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (James 1:17 NIV)
When everything’s changing around you, it’s important to remember that God is a consistent Father. He will never let you down. He can be counted on. He is reliable. He is worthy of trust.
James 1:17 says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows”(NIV). God is an unchanging, consistent Father.
Human fathers are often unpredictable. I’ve talked to people who said, “Growing up, I never knew how my dad was going to treat me. I never knew if he was going to be silent or violent. I never knew whether he was going to hug me or slug me. I never knew if he was going to take me in or reject me.” Inconsistent fathers produce insecure children.
But God is not moody. Your heavenly Father is consistent. One of the things you can count on is that God always acts the same toward you.
The Bible says in 2 Timothy 2:13, “If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.”
We know that the world is changing faster than ever before. Alvin Toffler wrote a book called “Future Shock,” in which he said that in times of rapid change, people need what he calls islands of stability. When everything else is up in the air, you need something in your life that never changes as an anchor for your soul. You need an island of stability in order to handle the stress.
There’s only one problem: On this planet, nothing lasts. There’s only one thing you can count on that is not ever going to change: the consistent, caring love of your heavenly Father.
“My God is changeless in his love for me” (Psalm 59:10 LB).
You can count on that.

- What have you used as an island of stability in your life?
- What are the good and perfect gifts in your life that are evidence of God’s changeless love for you?

Let Your Dreams Take Root
![]() |
Today's Scripture: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1, NKJV. Today's Word: Are you expecting your dreams to come true? It´s important to look beyond present circumstances and believe for God´s best. Someone battling sickness may say, "I could never be healthy." Or, "This report from the doctor says too many things are wrong with me." What they don´t realize is their lack of faith is holding them back from receiving God´s best. They allow adversities to keep them from moving forward. And that´s just what the enemy wants, to keep your dreams from taking root and being fulfilled. Our God-given dreams are like seeds planted deep within our hearts. For those dreams to grow, they must take root. Having faith for your dream means you believe it on the inside before it takes place on the outside. In other words, you´ve got to see those dreams coming to pass no matter what´s going on around you. Get a vision on the inside of what God wants for you. He wants you to accomplish the plans He´s put in your heart. Look out through eyes of faith and see your dreams coming to pass. See yourself walking in abundance in every area of life! Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, I know what you´ve put on the inside of me. By faith I see the dreams you´ve given me coming to pass, no matter what my circumstances are. I am full of Your power and I´m ready to become everything you created me to be. In Jesus´ Name. Amen. |
PS...
“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.” (Psalm 103:13 NIV)
God is a caring, loving, compassionate father. He loves you more than you will ever understand. He loves you more than you can ever comprehend. God is love, and he made you to love you. He is loving toward you in everything that he does, and his compassion is his most outstanding quality. God is a caring father.
The Bible says in Psalm 103:13, “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him” (NIV). He cares about everything in your life — compassionately.
Most of the disciples were professional fishermen. One day when they were out fishing, Jesus got tired and curled up in one end of the boat and went to sleep. When a storm came up, it shouldn’t have bothered the disciples. As fishermen, they were used to storms. But this must have been a big one, because they got scared. The ship was rocking and rolling, and water was coming into the boat. They were frantic and woke up Jesus to ask him one of the most important questions in life: “Lord, don’t you care?”
You and I ask that question of God all the time and in a thousand ways: “God, did you see that doctor’s report? Don’t you care? Do you see what a mess my marriage is in? Don’t you care? Do you see how little money we’ve got in the bank and all the bills we’ve got? Don’t you care? Do you see how my kids are struggling in school? Don’t you care? You know this fear that grips my mind that I can’t seem to get rid of. Don’t you care?”
The answer is yes, God cares. In fact, he cares more than you care. He wants to help more than you want help. He knows what will help you more than you know what will help you. He is aware, and he cares.
“Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).
If you knew and felt how much your heavenly Father cares compassionately and constantly about you, you’d have to love him back. If you feel like God is a million miles away, it’s because you don’t understand the kind of caring Father he really is. That understanding is the first step to inner peace.

The Gift
Tonight, I want to share about a personal gift. Last
Saturday, one day before my exam I attended a dialogue which has something to
do with personal branding. One of the questions was ‘what is your personal
brand?’ So easy yet too deep to think. In other words, what others think of me
when they came to hear my name. In a corporate world, what is my personal
branding?
When I was young my aunt told me that among the siblings, I
was the most open-minded person. She described me as an understanding person
and very optimistic about life. According to our Nanay, I was more like my Aunt
(father side) when it comes to thinking and speaking. Nevertheless, I believe I
acquired the DNA of our mom’s patience, humility and forgiving heart.
In my entire work life, I almost served and dealt with people
with the highest ranking position in the company, from President, VP, AVP, Director,
GM, and most of the time PM. It was my honour to serve them and with that they
saw me as a woman empowered to engage more in dealing with people. I believed
it’s a gift. It’s my God’s gift. A combination of both nature and nurture. I
appreciate my own personal development and God is untiringly working at me. He knitted every details of my personality and
be the person I am right now.
Not only that, looking through the years, I almost complete
the cycle of my profession. I revolved and involved myself into design,
construction, project management and now as a developer. I witnessed and
experienced all the differences. Nevertheless, it was all in a matter of approach.
To know the designer, I need to fit my own shoes. To know the contractor, I need
to wear my helmet as one in the construction site. To know the project management, I need to embrace
both. To know the developer side, I need to clothe all. Simply said than done
but the key to all is doing the right thing than doing the things right. The process
of my learning was one at a time and the Instructor (God) was profoundly giving
the modules according to His time.
Believe me, the journey to nurture the gift was not easy
from the start and the training ground required me to love discipline, trust
and ownership. The good thing about it is … the fruitful wisdom. The more I
share, the more I recall what I’ve learned. It’s a simple form of my own happiness
that not all people know. Selfless… knowledge-sharing person. That’s how I engraved my brand in people’s
heart. It’s a personal branding. A gift. =)
