New
Seasons of God's Blessing
TODAY’S
SCRIPTURE
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old
has gone, the new has come!”
(II Corinthians 5:17, NIV)
TODAY’S
WORD
Every person has had negative things spoken over them in
the past. Maybe someone told you that you don’t have what it takes or that
you’re not going to be successful. It’s almost like they cursed your future.
But the good news is that the blessing of God is greater than any curse. If
you’ll get rid of those negative strongholds and choose to believe what God
says about you in His Word, you will begin to see a turning point in your life.
Today, I declare blessing over you—that you are strong
and courageous. You are full of talent, creativity, and wisdom. You can
accomplish your God-given dreams. You walk in divine health. You have favor
with every person you meet. Everything you touch is going to prosper and
succeed. Those seeds of greatness on the inside of you are growing stronger and
stronger. That hidden treasure is about to burst forth and you’re going to come
in to new seasons of increase, new seasons of favor, new seasons of God’s
blessings! You are who God says you are. You have what God says you have. And I
declare you can do everything God says you can do, in Jesus’ name, amen!
PRAYER
FOR TODAY
Father, thank You for making me new and for bringing me
into new seasons of blessing. I renounce every negative word spoken over me and
break its power by the blood of Jesus. I receive Your truth and boldly move
forward in victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

"No one will be able to defeat you all your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forget you.” (Joshua 1:5 NCV)
You need to learn to lean on the Lord. It doesn’t mean just believe in him — it means depend totally, completely, and exclusively on God. When you lean on something, you expect it to hold you up. You can lean on the Lord.
"No one will be able to defeat you all your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forget you” (Joshua 1:5 NCV). If you study Joshua's life, you’ll find that, as long as he leaned on the Lord, he was undefeatable.
When you think you can’t do something on your own power, that’s OK. Lean on God, and he will give you his power to do what he’s called you to do. You lose your fear when God is near, and he’s promised to always be with you.
Some of you are leaning on other people. They may be Christians, they may be godly people, but they will let you down because they’re human, because nobody's perfect. There is no guarantee that the person you lean on the most — husband, wife, parent — will even be around for any length of time. You need someone who cannot be taken away from you. You need to learn to lean on the Lord.
Proverbs 3:5-7 says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (NIV). You can trust God with your future. Learn to lean on him.
Talk About It
Sometimes we don’t even want to lean on other people; it’s just easier to lean on ourselves. What is the danger in that?
What do you need to trust God with today?
