Salt and Pepper

A journey is worth to be remembered if it's seasoned with salt and pepper.

The beauty of life depends on how we see things on our own perspective.

The pepper (that looks like tiny spots) sometimes represents our past failures, losses, weaknesses, imperfections or even the so-called difficult or darkest season in our lives.
It reminds us how dark or even distasteful life can be. We cannot deny the fact that life is sometimes uneven, drain-fully painful and oftentimes difficult to fathom. The pepper adds spices to our lives which makes sense if only given consideration with the ease of Time. With patience and understanding, we came to know more how the mystery of life interwoven intricately with meaning and purpose.

If we allow ourselves to see the greatness of who our God is, we came to appreciate that pepper is the ashes of yesterdays, the shades and shadows in a bigger picture that lead us to see and experience the beauty of a 'Great Masterpiece'. Pepper is our learning curve that teaches us to grow more. But it’s still the Salt that completes the seasoning.

Salt preserves. Hope, Faith and Love are the Salt in our lives.  Isn't it Love sustains the passion to love more? Isn't it Hope gives light to dream more? And isn't it that Faith ignites impossibilities to see more? Salt solely reminds us to activate our faith, to light our hope and to fuel our passion to live and enjoy life to the fullest. It brings joy, happiness and countless miracles. The taste beyond is indescribable as we allow to have both salt and pepper in our lives.

For 14 years, I can say that salt and pepper changed my life... I just thank God for allowing me to taste it. With salt, I came to appreciate more the Word of God that enables me to share what I know and what I have. With pepper, I still blessed God... for without it, I have never gone this far... I came to know more that life can be miserable if we allow too much pepper to dwell in our lives.

With God's empowering salt we can still see the brighter side of life if only given chances and time. Yes it's difficult to know but if we settle our mind and heart to trust God... by wisdom and greater understanding of the One whom we owe our lives with --- life then makes sense.

Envision that no one… Not even a single penny can extend someone's own life just to experience the beauty of being alive... The goodness of Salt and the perplexing taste of Pepper are just inseparable in our lives. By being grateful every single day is completely great enough to thank God for everything... for all of His great blessings.

Indeed, our heart is the fountain of our lives... Take good care of it. Love it... Nurture it... May this remind us that...We just only have One Life… One Heart… Let it be seasoned with salt and pepper. =)
