How you can live out the Gospel every day

by: Ptr. Graham

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31

One of the biggest problems I think we have among Christians today is that many segment their spiritual and secular lives. They go to church—that’s their spiritual life—then come home to watch football, go to work on Monday, and live the rest of the week in the secular world.

I heard about a lady who had a little sign over her kitchen sink where she washed dishes that said, “Divine duty practiced here three times daily.” That’s exactly what worship is right there—finding God in the seemingly mundane and ordinary things and looking to serve Him however He wants to use you.

Every place can be a holy place and every good deed can be a holy deed when you’re walking in step with the Spirit. The living room of your home can be as holy as a church building. You can honor God mowing the lawn just like you can singing songs at church. There are no limitations when you walk in the Spirit!

So practice the daily presence of Jesus in your life. Seek to honor Him in the “small things.” And above all else, remember that wherever God has you throughout the week, your duty is to bring honor and glory to Him with your life!

LIVE OUT THE GOSPEL EVERY DAY BY HONORING GOD IN THE “SMALL THINGS” OF LIFE!
