Something to be thankful for

Today, I want to spend some time to think and ponder some of the many things that I want to be grateful for about last year 2013. The blessings that God has done in my life which I truly appreciate more…

  1. I was able to start my master degree last year not in the Philippines but in Malaysia (my original plan honestly not to pursue it as early as last year but God breathe into my dreams again).

  1. I gained more knowledge and wisdom from different professors I came to meet. Not only that, it made me realized deeper understanding of the real world and what’s in the ‘school of thought’.

  1. I developed more discipline, time management and the appreciation of sleeping. (before I think how to spend my time; now that I am both into school and work, I think of how to have time for myself and believe me, 8 hours of sleeping for me is one of my so-called many happiness, too shallow but true to some who can relate)

  1. I realized that people can maximize their happiness even if they are alone in a place but not lonely.

  1. I came to appreciate more all the people around me for they are my strength and courage each day. Their inspiring stories and their lives speak more of themselves which I truly admired of. Their dedication and passion revives my passion too in my heart.

  1. I thanked God for the new friends and spiritual family that strengthen my faith in God. They were really amazing and inspiring. To live a holy life is a better life.

  1. I appreciate that God allowed me to see our brother succeeding in his dreams. I was able to see the maturity in his life which made him stronger (I cheered on him for that and so happy for his achievement).

  1. I warmly welcome another set of family in our family as my sister married to his former boyfriend (now officially husband). So thankful for another new born baby at home; to Joshua Miguel auntie is so excited to see you soon.

  1. I blessed the Heavenly father for our family’s health especially our parents. God, I always owe you this precious life we have. I thanked the Lord for the opportunity everyday that we came to enjoy this life no matter what happen. Having the time to be with them physically or in spirit is really worth remembering. Not to forget all their teachings and principles which enable me to love the life I have and embrace the wonderful journey ahead.

Indeed, I love You Lord even more. I bless You for making my heart, mind and soul focus on You always; that You always remind me of our best journeys in life each time I fall. It was a great thing to know that You are always there for me as You speak silently and closely into my heart.

I bless You with an everlasting love.

Love,
Meg =)
