Love is like a Post-It-Notes (part II)

By Meg

This coming Sunday and examination day again however instead of reading tonight, I feel like sharing what’s on my mind. Just simple as it is. Because, for a very long weekend, it seems that I was too focused on our assignments and it’s time to take a deep breath and be refreshed. =)

Anyway, Hearts’ Day is not yet over because everyday is Hearts’ Day! Why? Simply because our hearts are still beating which I believe something that we are to be grateful for every single minute; a big reason why we are appreciating everything about life as of this moment.

Have you seen a post-it-notes? Colorful isn’t it? Well, thank you for the good articles lately for reminding me on how this post-it-notes can enhance and nourish more our relationships by writing compliments and greetings to our beloved ones with or without special occasions.

One thing that we obviously notice about this paper is its bonding agent at the back. Its adhesive is the main reason why we can post it anywhere. Love is like a post-it-notes. Its attachment is stronger if we are only ‘post-it’ at once. The same goes with someone who is in a relationship, married or still looking. The art of purity matters most in this analogy. The more we stick the ‘post-it-notes’ many times everywhere, its bonding agent weakens. It also accumulate dirt. Like that of married couples (as study shown) who values ‘purity’ when they wed, the divorce rate is statistically zero. Simply because their love for each other is greater than their lust and their bonding agent called love is even stronger as the years go by.

Choice. Respect. Honor. Three words that I believe married couples or even single must possessed in dealing with passion in purity. In Romans 12:1, it deals with a selfless act of love… in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. The good thing about this verse is – not to only use our bodies to worship God but is also a good thing to use in appreciating the gift of intimacy that God has bestowed only for married couples in order to create an offspring for them to enjoy.  Second thing, we protect our own bodies to become healthy and stay stronger as God intended us to be. Indeed, always remember the post-it-notes. =)
