Pilate Washes his Hands
Matthew 27:
24When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing
nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his
hands in front of the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of this Man's blood;
see to that yourselves." 25And all the people said, "His blood shall
be on us and on our children!" 26Then he released Barabbas for them; but
after having Jesus scourged, he handed Him over to be crucified.

Thank you for the cross Lord
Thank you for the price You paid
Bearing all my sin and shame
In love You came and gave amazing grace
…12However, the Law is not of faith; on the
contrary, "HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM." 13Christ
redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us-- for it is
written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE "-- 14in order that
in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we
would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
