December 2012 Dear Partner, Merry Christmas from Every Nation Partners! In the hustle and bustle of Christmas time, it's easy to forget the reason for the season. As Christians all over the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we thank you for partnering with us to help bring His Good News to people who need to hear this message of hope and salvation. The urgency to impact the nations with the message of the Gospel is even stronger during Christmas, and our missionaries are working hard in the mission fields to make this happen. In Myanmar, the Every Nation church in Yangon now manages two worship services, twelve LIFE groups, and discipleship activities in three centers. They have also recently launched a website for an English Corner that serves as a powerful tool to engage the locals. Here in Manila, the School of World Missions recently graduated 28 leaders from different nations. After four successful months of intensive training for leadership, discipleship and church planting, these church leaders are now preparing to be sent out to different nations across Asia and the Middle East to start the work of cross-cultural missions. This is truly fulfillment of the Lord's prayer in Matthew 9:30 to "Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." As 2012 draws to a close, we are very excited to usher in the new year, expectant for what we will witness God do in the nations. Through it all, God has remained faithful, and the opportunities that await our Vietnamese church only serve to excite its leaders and members more and more. Read more...
